This painting is of my friend's five-year-old granddaughter. She posed for me and was unable to sit still (much like every other five-year-old). She became tired and hot (this was on a verrrry warm day in Wisconsin) so I snapped a photo of her when she had relaxed on this chair. The resulting painting captures her summer glow.
